Being Boho Chic

Hello my people

Half year is done. Where did 2019 fly by?As we march towards July one thing that comes to our mind is lots of summer festivals. Outdoor events , food trucks line up calling for some amazing sun and fun filled long summer days. For us Calgarians, July is synonymous to one of the best outdoor event called Stampede. As we gear up to witness the grandeur and week long celebration in July we also see a complete make over in the city in terms of fashion and otherwise.

Inspired by summer festivals all around the world I have come up with some looks in collaboration with Shein ( Use my code ‘ 2Divya15‘ to get 15% of on any order. This post is all about being free spirited and Boho. Let the scorching sun inspire you to bring out your Boho self.

Look 1: The Eyelet and Ruffles dress

If there is one kind of fabric we should invest for the warmer days it has to be eyelet. The fabric is soft on the skin and gives a super cute look. This dress from shein stands out with ruffles details and with beautiful details on the sleeves. It has a very cute back and comes in a soothing colour. Size up for the perfect fit. For the accessories I added a dark blue embroidered shoes and made use of my silver jhumkas.

Look 2: The Polka Midi Dress

One print that never go out of style is the polka dot. Bring back the 90s vibes and be feminine with polka. The midi dress has a perfect length and the yellow polka dots makes it your perfect companion for the summer. I styled it 2 ways. Added a black belt and back heels. But if there are long walks involved ditch the heels and add the brown tie up sandals. Add the denim jacket to complete the boho look.

Look 3: The tribal Print dress

Last and my favourite is a dress with tribal prints. This season we have witnessed so many prints. Out of all of them tribal prints makes an impression. This tribal cami dress is super summery. I added a statement necklace and a blue belt. Denim jacket is optional. I gave the earrings a miss. Added sandals which I got from India.

All of the dresses are under under $40 making it super affordable. Shein has some amazing boho inspired dresses. Head to their website and make your choices. Let me know which look you loved the most.
