Hello Friends.

Day light savings are done!! Winter has arrived and so are the transitional wardrobe staples. One such trend which holds on to position number 3 of my fall look book is the Belted Blazer look. Love this trend for the fact that it suits every body type.Pairing up your blazer with belts makes the look put together and also adds the required shape to the waistline.dsc_0116.jpgSome of the variations in this runway to everyday tend that I spotted and would personally love to try are

  • An oversized trench with wide statement belts. Ditch the pants if you are in warmer place. There you go, you have a Belted Blazer dress look all set to make heads turn.Pair it up with thigh high boots for added glamour.
  • Go in for a casual vibe with plaid coat paired with a distressed jeans and statement belt in bright colours like yellow, fuchsia or purple. Add mules to match the belt.
  • Choose a co-ord look matching your blazer with a tailored cigarette pants and belt in the same colour.
  • Do not want to spend the extra dollars?? Never mind head to your wardrobe and mix and match your blazer with the belts you already have. This is how I created this look of mine.

DSC_0087_1.jpgI had pre-owned formal pants with animal prints belt from the brand Mango. Second trend of the season which is huge are animal prints. Yes I am one among many who has reservations on wearing these prints. I restrict myself to simple accessories with animal prints. An asymmetrical dress with pine strip details was matched with the blazer with pine strips details on the sleeves. Added the snake printed belt on top of the blazer.DSC_0091_1.jpgdsc_0114.jpgMatched the accessories with the blazer. Paired the red pumps and red bag to complete the look. What are you guys waiting for. Fasten your belts and head out in style.
