Hello People

This blog post is very special to me. Considering i got to experience something i was aiming to since i was a kid. Let’s all rewind to 90’s era. India was booming like never before and as a kid i was exposed to lot of new wonderful things which has etched a memory of a life time for me. I remember as a young kid how i admired India’s representation in runways/beauty pageants and probably that was the first time i ever saw a runway on TV. The culture of fashion designers reaching out to middle class house holds through life style channels and the advent of the concept of super models thorough indie POP music created curiosity  in me to know more about runways. Years rolled by and the engineer in me wanted to succeed but the love for fashion continued to stay. Like they say somethings never change. Watching the runway was in my bucket list and i can happily place a check mark against it.

dsc_0442.jpgThe fashion show was organised by PARK here in our very own Calgary. The George C King bridge was covered into a runway. Designers from all over Canada arrived here to showcase the talent. Kudos to all the designer , models and the organisers for putting up a great show. I completely enjoyed it and it will remain with me as the best first experience. Hoping to see more such events in YYC.

Talking about my outfit , i wore a fuschia pink dress with ruffles details on the sleeve for the event. I paired it up with golden accessories and animal print pumps from ALDO. Keeping up with the summer trend is the floral cluth bag from ALDO. The bag has a fun golden and pearl details in the handle.
